JB175 (1654), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 2, 2007 Yellow-gold color with a small head. Aroma is pleasantly sour with hints of lemon, yeast, brett, and apple. Flavor is nice and sour - bretty with a pleasant bit of apple, lemon, and other tangy fruits. Wood flavors in there as well. Another tasty Cantillon lambic! Enjoyit (1697), Vadum, Denmark Sep 2, 2007 Amber of color, no head. An aroma of dry apples, cider and sour notes. A flavor with notes of apples and oak, sour notes and hints of sweets. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 04/06/2006

Beershine (2678), Hue, Vietnam Aug 18, 2007 Updated: Feb 28, 2008Distinct Cantillon lambic. The unblended lambic is tantalizingly tart. Not the most satisfying or compelling lambic but delicious nonetheless and fun to drink, too. MrBunn (1520), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 15, 2007 750 mL bottle. Pours an orangish amber color with a few bubbles on top that die down quickly and leave little trace. There’s a pretty good haze to the body. Aromas are sharp and tart. Maybe a bit of lemon juice, some white grapes that promise a little sweetness under it all, a little bit of apple cider vinegar is also detectable. The obvious comment on the flavor is that it is wonderfully tart. Still, it comes across as a little thin, but this makes it refreshing and I don’t think it detracts too much. The sour notes almost have acidic and bitter qualities to them, like lemon and grapefruit peels. pilsnerrogge (1770), Finspång, Sweden Aug 11, 2007 bottle Colour is bronze with a slight haze. No head, no carbonation. Aroma is sourish with some notes of barnyard. Flavour is sourish but balanced, maybe there’s some dusty hops in the background. Veer (355), Landskrona, Sweden Aug 8, 2007 Aroma: wonderful, champagne winegum, sour, brett, vaguely of sweat, wheat, old hops (wonderful)... lemony, a bitter, leatherlike, sour applepeel aroma, absolutely adorable. Lactic acid, very vinous and yet unusually beery.
Appearance:stark apple juice/winegum yellow, a white rind of foam along the sides...beautfiul lacing.
Flavour: apple juice, mild, white wine... wooden, dry and quite mild. Very nice. Strange bretty/musty sour adtertaste. The one minus is that it is too watery.
Palate: no carbonation... smooth, oily, like a white wine UselessGdTaste (363), Long Beach, California, USA Jul 31, 2007 Wow...FLAT. Great sourness, but the rest seemed a tad watery. Greatly refreshing without effervesence. I wish I had a better supply of unblendeds that I could compare, but for now, this will do.
