Appearance: Pours a hazy, still golden body with a thin, white head. Smell: The cold hard fact that this smells exactly like TheBeerCellar’s 1978 "Gas Line" Lemonade is totally indisputable. Taste: A slight upfront sweetness layered with lemons and hay. Hints of wood and salt. Plenty of vinegary acidity on the dry, pucker-inducing finish. Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Very little carbonation to speak of. Just the slightest bit oily in the mouthfeel. Drinkability: I’m tellin’ ya, "Gas Line Lemonade".

Bottle, 75cl (2003, bottled in 2007). Hazy golden colour, no head at all. Wonderful aroma with notes of unripe apple, grapefruit & grapes. Not the most acidic flavour, rather soft for a lambic with metallic notes and a basket of fruity elements. Great mouthfeel though carbonation doesn’t exist. One more bottle please.

(75 cl bottle from Systembolaget) I’m guessing it’s the same beer, though mine’s labeled "Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio 2003". Bottled 17 Jan 2007. Very dry cork, also bottle cap on top. A bit shady golden color, no head what so ever. Had it not been a lambic it would’ve gotten only a 2 for looks. Spritzy, sour, acidic, stable and horse blanket scent. Acidic, sour, tingly, grape skin taste, some wine and also grape fruit. Flat moutfeel, I would’ve liked to have at least a bit of co2, sadly brings it down quite a bit in my book. Perhaps it’s the unusual dry cork that has messed it up somehow? Strange since it’s so new/fresh. Not my favourite Lambic, mostly taken down several notches due to the lack of mouthfeel.

Draught baby! Clear Copper orange, no head. Aromais light fruits, grapes, pears, apples. Flavor is sourness all they way with a soapy aftertaste that is so damn dry it leaves your mouth with no saliva. This beer definitely needs to breathe for at least 30 minutes, that when the fruits started to shine, grapes first then apples, pears, and more sourness. This was less sour than the gueze by far, but it still covers up much of the taste with the big tart kick that hits you first. Let this one breathe.

750ml. I’ve been waiting for this one! 71 of 71!! Golden color. TBC says it smells like 1978 gas lines when he and his buddy made lemonade with real lemon + sugar. Prost! smells like an unflavored lambic, sour, tart, luscious. flavors are smooth. hroma of bandaids. Flavors are rather of tart malt.

Bottle sampled. Pours hazy golden with an orange hue, and a small white head. Aroma of fruit, citrus, tart, acidic, and wood. The flavor is fruit, citrus, sweet upfront, with a tart dry finish. Good brew.

On tap at Sputyen. Clear light orange in color with a nice fruity aroma. Oaky grape and apple notes. Fruity and tart flavor. Sour tasting. Apples and pears. Finish is sour and fruity. Well balanced. Very nice. Very drinkable. Great stuff.
