Aug 1, 2009 Organic Lambic pours very flat almost wine like. First sip and it feesl like the sour is on the tip of your tongue. The acidity is low which makes this the most drinkable Cantillon I have ever had. Very Quaffable. I plan on aging the other bottle I have.

Jul 29, 2009 Sour, no carbonation, no head, oily, flat, acidic, lemony. Hazy pour, spoiled white wine. Not my favorite Cantillon.

Jul 29, 2009 Sampled form bomber at Wurstkuche tasting. Pours dark gold with almost zero head. Aroma has a bunch of funk, mixed in with a cedar-like wood aromas, and some acidity. Palate is near flat, with a slightly "fatty" mouthfeel that moves towards a dry finish. To me, the flavors of this beer were fairly straightforward. You got a substantial amount of the oak in there, blended nicely with funky brett and acidity, perhaps even some dried fruit (pear?). Didn’t like this one as much as Cantillon Gueze or Rose, though I lack the vocabulary to express how one Cantillon sour lambic can be truly “better” than another. Maybe ‘cause they are all quality.

Jul 22, 2009 In a bottle at the Stone Sourfest...the last pour of the last bottle apparently. Pours with a medium clarity gold body and minimal head. Aroma of must and lemon. Taste is sour, vinegar and lemon. Near flat, dry mouthfeel.

Jul 21, 2009 Pours almost still, blonde and very hazy. The aroma is dusty with lemons and a very vinous oaky aroma, very good. Flavor is lemon and some vinous characteristics. This is intensely sour and woody and has that sort of musty cob webby thing happening that I love so very much.

Jul 20, 2009 Bottle at Stone Sour Fest 09. Pours a pissy dark yellow with no head. Looks exactly like a urine sample. Aroma is bad white wine, vinegar and apple juice. Flavor is the same cidery apple vinegar wine. No carbonation and thin on the palate. I don’t want to say this is terrible, but it’s definitely not good.

Jul 20, 2009 Had at Stone Sour Fest 2009. Pours a very clear apple juice color with no head. Acidic aroma of apple cider vinegar. Very flat like a gymnast.with no carbonation. Very weird taste. Overall strange and disappointing like bus-stop drinking fountain water.

Jul 19, 2009 Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio 2005 @Pauls Girardin chugging-courtesy of -750ml bottle–pours no head and hazy gold color. Aroma is funky, tart lemon, light malt. Taste is earthy, funky, tart lemon, light malt, vinegar. Minimum carbonation.
