| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 9, 2006 750mL, no date. Pours a hazy orange golden with a few large clear bubbles. Aroma is largely musty and barnyard funk. There are some sour apples and oak, and it smells acidic. Very sour with some plain bitterness peaking through towards the end . Otherwise the same as the aroma. I figured the acidity would be much sharper in the taste. This beer has my salivary glands working overtime. There is almost carbonation, medium bodied--I assume this is representative of the style, but it doesn’t work for me. Overall, this isn’t too bad if you don’t have to drink the entire 750 by yourself. dwyerpg (2529), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 17, 2006 75 cl bottle of Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio 2002. Light copper colour with just a light haze and only a handful of large bubbles on the top. Spicy, gently peppery nose with apples and only notions of barnyard. Dry, woody taste; tart without much citrus - rather vinous grapes and apples. Sulphur, fruit and mild bitterness in the aftertaste. A bit oily, very smoth texture with a very dry finish, yet without much astringency. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 17, 2006 2004 bottle acquired in Secret Santa (Thanks Brandon). Pours out a brown yellowish color without a head at all. Figured the bottle was bad, but after reading reviews it seems that this beer has very little if any carbonation. Smell is oak, earth, apples, lemons, and tart sourness. Taste is pretty tart, and interesting. Fruits and some sweetness comes out. Not bad really. Not my favorite lambic by any stretch of the imagination, but its decent. Would be alot higher rated if it had some carbonation. HighGravity (890), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 14, 2006 Rustic dry and acidic as all hell. The palate is light and refrshing with an iron like flavor that is nice.
