A decent lambic with a mild sour taste which is exactly what I was lookin for. Barnyard aromas all over this. Light carbonation makes this a great late night beer. Awesome. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 16, 2008 On tap at Ortinos Northside. Pours a mostly translucent golden with orange almost pinkish notes and a very small bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, floral notes, barnyard, funky and tart with like acetic nots. Flavor was lightly tart and funky, some of the barnyard/horse blanket, dry and actually a little thin. TheBeerGod (3162), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 18, 2004 Pours a lazy amber-orange. Nose is sour but there seems to be hints of sweetness lurking in there. Some wood, maybe rotten fruit and basement in the aroma. Sour taste, but not too over the top. I was expecting much more sour. I guess the oak aging has mellowed this out. The taste is comprised of sour fruit, some funky earthiness, and a hint of wood. Surprisingly smooth feeling on the palate and less than tart finish. Very good, but I couldn't drink more than one of these in a day. KnutAlbert (3157), Oslo, Norway
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 17, 2007 Bottle bought at the brewery. Rather soft and round for a lambic, the long period in casks hase mellowed this a bit. The sourness is still in there, apples, citrus. More acid in the finish than in the body. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 23, 2006 Bottle. Still golden beer with little head. The aroma is slightly fruity and lightly sour and the flavour is largely sour and nothing else. Overall a disappointing beer. caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands

Taste is quite flat, pretty tart, though not as tart as some other Cantillon brews, slightly sweet. Sticky palate. rauchbier (3002), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England

Cloudy amber, flat as hell and no head. Big sweaty brie and lambic barnyard aromas, mouldy tart cider apples and vinegar. Luscious and juicy sweet in the mouth and earthy and bone dry in the finish.

Cooled and let sit over night. Slightly cool to the touch but not cold. Pours like apple juice with a a bit of carbonation and bubbles around the top. Aroma is pure guezey goodness, funkadelic. The taste is sweet, tart, woody, sharp, and vinious. Some fruity notes in there too. Wow this is complex with a lot of differnent things happening. Just what I need to help me contemplate my next move...
