Orange yellow color with no head. Strong sour-tart flavor - slight lemon - not overpowering and very smooth. An experience. presario (3010), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Bottled Aug 22 2006. Flat lightly cloudy yellow orange. Simple salty sour nose with hints of lite fruit. Mild tame sour beer. The salty grapefruit sinks into the cheeks. Kind of like a flat mimosa made with grapefruit. Gets a little dirty and funky at the bottom of the glass. Some wood chips. rauchbier (3004), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England

Cloudy amber, flat as hell and no head. Big sweaty brie and lambic barnyard aromas, mouldy tart cider apples and vinegar. Luscious and juicy sweet in the mouth and earthy and bone dry in the finish.

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jun 29, 2007 Updated: Oct 5, 2007I didn’t realize this was an unblended lambic while drinking it. From a keg. I expected unblended lambic to be much more sour that this. As it is, there is mild barnyard aroma and wild yeast. Flavor is just a little sour, some oak, cloudy yellow. It really is a nice beer, and the mildest lambic I have ever had that still is clearly a quality beer and not something filled with sugar. This one was from 2003. I will have to rerate when I open my bottle. BMan1113VR (2958), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA

Sadly the flavor is not as amazing as the aroma, there is tartness, mild cheese and barnyard, the finish is sweet and tart. The body is light with a liquorous texture and very low carbonation. One of the mellower Cantillon products, damn.
