750ml bottle via trade a while back. Pours a clear (on the last glass very cloudy) glowing golden orange with 0 head. Nose of tart apples with citrus peels and farmhouse funk. Flavor was both sweet and sour, with a hint of oak in there. A very underrated Lambic.

pours a lightly cloudy copperish orangish off color no head at all. Nice sour aroma lots of wood notes definate horse blanket and touches of leather and a hint of smoke defiante berries although I couldn’t tell which kind. Palate is fairly avg w/ a nice cheek puckering. A nice full tart flavor nicely complex a great deel of bitter fruits definate berries and apples some light leather and wood notes very mellow flavor that was quite good.

Draft at O’Brien’s. Oragnge yellow with no head. Not much carbonation at all in fact. Very fruity of course, the tartness was almost overwhelming even in the aroma. Very very tart, very acidic on the finish. A very nice lambic if you are prepared for it.

Zero carbonation, no pop of the cork, nor did I get even the faintest whiff of a head. Oddly enough, it didn’t impair the drinkability at all. Deep, slightly opaque gold. Nose sour and a bit bready. Flavor sour but not overpowingly so, good musty character, nice balance between overpowering gueuze and artificially sweetened lambics.

750 ml bottle. Highly disappointed in this one. Bottled as Bruocsella Grand Cru Lambic Bio 2001. Zero carbonation which led to an unpleasant drink. Musty lambic flavors as expected but difficult to drink flat.

2005 bottle. Translucent and buffed gold in color with some sulfite-esque matter making a light dusted coating on the top. Sour, woody submergence snares the nose. Applewood and lilac spring rain sods warped barn planks in a forgotten Franconia field. Musty ragweed meets unripened chardonnay grapes and pollinated, woolen picnic blankets grown crispy in a hot autumn sun. Quenching flavor rises with sour suggestions immediately at the onset. No carbonation to stand in the way of the tart, woody display. Seafaring coves never touched by the sun, with salt water’s sour acidity to complimentary careen the caramel over white grape pomegranate kernels. Ocean air hits dilapidated hostels and the wood shingles crumble down into vats of white cranberry marmalade to tartly coddle the oaken caramel display. Slick, smooth substance puckers the tongue to the very end.

Hazy orange body with a dishwater head, no lacing. Aroma is leather, oak, peaches, basement, barnyard action, lemons, the usual tartness. Not as interesting as the other offerings I’ve had from them. Felt relatively lighter on everything, mainly body and acidity. Not impressive to look at, but better to drink. Not their best offering IMO.

Yellow appearance with a no head. Aroma is sharp citrus and musk. Flavor was a blend of lemons, oranges, and apricot. The finish was nice with a tart tinge on the tounge. Yet another great lambic from Cantillon.
