| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 3, 2006 Body is gold with no forming head. Sour, horseblanket, almost a watermelon like aroma to it along with grapefruit. Taste is watery with the normal Cantillon initial sourness with some lemon. Palate and beer is just to watery. jeffc666 (1897), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 26, 2003 2002 Vintage - Clear golden body with a white head that leaves very nice glass lacing. Sour acidic nose, some oak aroma also. Flavor is sour apple, oak, lemons, etc... verfy complex and yummy. Very dry, almost puckering finish. Very nice lambic. emacgee (1892), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 12, 2009 Bottle at the Thirsty Monk. Pours a translucent gold with no head. The nose is tart and musty, nice yeasty barnyard aromas, acidic, mild phenol with some warmth. Flavor is tart and acidic, a little more one dimensional than a blended lambic, acetic, funky and yeasty, some phenol and astringency on the palate. iowaherkeye (1890), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 9, 2006 750mL, no date. Pours a hazy orange golden with a few large clear bubbles. Aroma is largely musty and barnyard funk. There are some sour apples and oak, and it smells acidic. Very sour with some plain bitterness peaking through towards the end . Otherwise the same as the aroma. I figured the acidity would be much sharper in the taste. This beer has my salivary glands working overtime. There is almost carbonation, medium bodied--I assume this is representative of the style, but it doesn’t work for me. Overall, this isn’t too bad if you don’t have to drink the entire 750 by yourself. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of fruit, citrus, tart, acidic, and wood. The flavor is fruit, citrus, sweet upfront, with a tart dry finish. Good brew. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA

GRAND CRU 2000: Slightly nutty aroma, with many sour notes bouncing around the mouth. Little carbonation, but enough to add an alco-pop sensation. Certainly not as complex as the older version. BeerLimey (1873), California, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 17, 2004 Hazed golden orange appearance, no head formation or bubbles. Nose is acidic, becoming pungent and cheesey as it opens, mildly sweaty but not too menacing. Tart, sour fruit intro, unripened orange but a mild balance of sweet orange peel too. Mildly cheesey middle, strong acidity, grapefruit citrus and sourness in the finish. (Bottled in 2002).
