| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 1, 2005 Bottle. Hazy brown body with no head. Nose-skunky, dough, malt, light lambic. Taste-skunky, tannins, woody, sour, earthy. Kind of raw tasting, but not bad. I would much rather have Cantillon’s Geuze. YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 9, 2004 Another of many lambic and fruit beers tasted at a special tasting. Clear amber body with no head. The aroma was decent as compared to some of the other offerings but the taste was once again too sour. Want to like these beers but just don't. 11026 (1799), Alabama, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jul 24, 2005 Bottle from Pailhead. LIghtly hazy and golden colored. No head, no lacing. Prerequisite funky aromas. Flavor runs more sour than tart if that makes any sense. Dissapointingly thin and watery. Light bodied. Decent but not up to the other offerings from this brewer. illinismitty (1797), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 22, 2009 This rating is for the Bruocsella 1900. I tried this at the first BA Nashville tasting alongside a 2002 Bruocsella Grand Cru. Pours honey golden with no head. Aroma of Belgian "barnyard" funk. Flavor has a medium to strong sourness, along with some honey and grassiness. There is enough sweetness to keep this drinkable. Not bad. Now for the 2002 Grand Cru (not rated), it had much more of the less desireable barnyard qualities in the aroma. Bugs had done their thing and made this far less sweet and more dry, making it far too acetic for my tastes. 8-3-7-4-14 pilsnerrogge (1784), Finspång, Sweden
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 11, 2007 bottle Colour is bronze with a slight haze. No head, no carbonation. Aroma is sourish with some notes of barnyard. Flavour is sourish but balanced, maybe there’s some dusty hops in the background. Palidor19 (1780), Brandon, Florida, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Feb 27, 2007 This is my first attempt at an unblended. I find it hard to enjoy due to the over strong presence of acetic sourness. With no head, no carbonation and no taste except sourness, Maybe one day, I’ll find this style drinkable. thornecb (1779), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA

Sharp, sour apple and oak. Dry and puckering but very flat with a lasting blue cheese finish. ryan (1778), Beltsville, Maryland, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 18, 2006 Tap, Max’s 72 hours. Light amber body with no head. Lambic aromas, barnyard funk, lacto-sourness, lemons, pineapple, pears and apple. The flavor is immediately sour and dry, lemons, green apples. I had this side by side with the Gueuze and this was a touch drier and slightly more sour. The mouthfeel is light, refreshing.
