Tap, Max’s 72 hours. Light amber body with no head. Lambic aromas, barnyard funk, lacto-sourness, lemons, pineapple, pears and apple. The flavor is immediately sour and dry, lemons, green apples. I had this side by side with the Gueuze and this was a touch drier and slightly more sour. The mouthfeel is light, refreshing.

Peach nectar with no head. Dusty, hay and barnyard aromas with some fruity notes. Not really as aggressive as most lambic types. Even comes off a bit sweet. Rather full bodied with very little carbonation. Doesn’t make me think of lambic at all.

Bottle from Pailhead. LIghtly hazy and golden colored. No head, no lacing. Prerequisite funky aromas. Flavor runs more sour than tart if that makes any sense. Dissapointingly thin and watery. Light bodied. Decent but not up to the other offerings from this brewer.

Amber of color, no head. An aroma of dry apples, cider and sour notes. A flavor with notes of apples and oak, sour notes and hints of sweets.

My cork says this was bottled in 2003.
No head, no carbonation. Big, bright aroma, has tart grape, unripe banana and musty straw. The flavor features unripe green apples and sliage with a straw dust finish. I think I’d like the beer more if it had some carbonation to liven up the mouthfeel. It was sort of like drinking an extra-tart cider.
