| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 6, 2006 Pours still with a somewhat murky blonde body. Aromas are as intense as any beer I have smelled. Nasty sweat socks, burnt rubber, horse blanket, a moldy mustiness and tons of acidity. The body was still and dry. The flavors are dominated by sourness. It is just intense. Finish is dry dry dry. Can’t say that I really enjoyed this, but it was an experience. Zeswaft (1000), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 10, 2006 My last style of the 70 and thank god it’s over. What a stupid beer. no difference between this and gueze. I was told this was supposed to be a good one too. 25% is far from that. I’m glad I can’t remember how much money i wasted on this crap. I spilled my friends glass of this and gladly gave him mine. sersdf (1000), chicago, Illinois, USA

Aroma is acidic, yeast, sour, apple, oak, and funky. Sour, musty, citrus, and earthy. Finish is musty and very tart. Mouth is a bit watery. Damn’d good. My enjoyment of lambics grows with each bottle. LordCorkscrew (982), Ronco Scrivia (GE), Italy
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 1, 2008 Orco boia. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 5, 2008 Pours a hazed gold with a funky nose (surprise, surprise). Flavor is a load of tangy oranges. The liquid feel is thicker than I usually expect lambics to be. It’s good. Not my favorite lambic really, but still pretty decent. Just a bit too tangy for my likes is all. axilla (962), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 3, 2008 Poured a golden/copper color with no head, really no carbination at all. The nose was signature Cantillon yeastiness but not very pronounced. Flavors were dominated by a flat citric vinigar taste with some phenolic notes and mild hay. I’ve noticed some really promising ratings for this but on the other hand, I’ve also seen a lot of carbination problems. I’d like to try this again one day but not necessarily too soon. My most disappointing Cantillon to date.
