Brewed in Belgium..... Courtesy of AFI96, thanks Waylo !!! Pours a golden / orange color with zero head. Aroma is of sour apples, lemons and baby funk. Taste of sour fruits, flowers, aspirin and earth. The mouthfeel is super thin in body, zero carbonation and kind of boring. Cantillon makes much better lambics, i suggest you try something else.

Bottle from Dranken Geers. Hazy orange amber with no head. Can taste the cask aging, spice, fruits. Has a wine like sourness. And smells of minge. Finish is a little bitter with a hint of wood and smoke.

Hazy pale yellow, no head. Citric, sour yeasty nose. Acidic citrus/grape flavour with some notes of unripe fruits. Has a complex sweetness too in finish.

750ml bottled on 22Aug06. Pours like apple juice. No carbonation on this one though some clear fat bubbles form from the pour but disappear quite quickly. Light foam makes swirls on the top. Aroma is cidery, brett, lemon, green apple. Tart. Aroma improves with warming. Taste is similar. Acidity and sourness are quite subdued and tolerable. Soft on the palate. Interesting beer though I kind of miss carbonation in my lambics.

750ml bottle of one surprising lambic that cost me $20. Bottled 09/05/2007. No head, and almost no bubbles. Still, orange, smells musty yet juicy. It tastes like so many different things, juice, apples, sour, must, basement, no wonder gueuze is so good. This lambic did not disappoint. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 03-15-2009 05:13:07

[2005 bottle] Golden in color, with almost zero carbonation. Nearly-offensive aroma, musty fruit and acidic vomit (in a nice way). Incredibly complex flavors, very tart, dry fruit, wood. Very dry, puckering finish. Seems to work well with the lack of carbonation. Acidity is mild, compared to other blended Cantillon beers. Outstanding.

(bottle, vintage 2003, thanks JK!) Pours a still, cloudy gold. Aroma contains a lot of cut grass, oak, yeast, and salty, funky cheese. The taste is lightly sour, with some funky cheese, lemon, but becomes far more salty towards the finish which I did not really care for.
