How can a beer by Cantillon taste like this? It’s not alive as it should be. It must have been a bad bottle so I will re-rate it as soon as possible. For now: aroma of leather, dusty and hints of vinegar. Golden color, no head, not even after stiring. Light sweet, light sour, wood, dusty, pretty bitter like gin, medium body. But no aggresiveness and very weak. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 8, 2004 Light hazy bronze color, no head or lacing: uncarbonated. The aroma is lightly malty with some nice tart notes. The flavor is lightly tart along with some very woody notes. It's like I'm licking the cask that this was aged on in Belgium. Beautiful charactaristics, artisinal as they get. Many thanks Chad! Tmoney99 (4780), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 7, 2007 Bottle cap & corked. Poured hazy orange color with an minimal frothy white head that mostly diminished with virtually no lacing. Moderate sour yeasty raw wet wood aroma. Light to medium body with a dry texture. Medium sour citrus flavor with a medium sour finish of moderated duration. This is a standout for style beer. anders37 (4774), Malmö, Sweden

A golden coloured lambic with a super funky welcoming aroma . It is the type of smell that you can taste and it wafts you in. The taste is acidic and grapey. Good sourness yet never overtly challenging. A pretty easy drinking lambic. leaparsons (4748), Leicester, Leicestershire, England
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 23, 2007 Bottle. Bright gold and yellow with no head. Aromas are lemon and wood with hints of sugar. Lacks the cheesiness of some of the Cantillons but still has some barnyard notes. Flavours are light and woody initially followed by lots of sour lemon and grapefruit. The finish is very acidic. Not the best Cantillon but still very good. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 31, 2007 Bottle from Capone’s. Orangy dark strawish pour with very little head. The aroma was nice, with a lot of tart fruit, including white grapes, apple, and pear, plus earthy yeasty musty basement hints. The taste had almost no carbonation, showing a cidery mouthfeel, albeit much tarter and more complex, with chardonnay, pear, apple, and earthy flavor hints. ChristianScheffel (4632), Odense, Denmark
