Yellow appearance with a no head. Aroma is sharp citrus and musk. Flavor was a blend of lemons, oranges, and apricot. The finish was nice with a tart tinge on the tounge. Yet another great lambic from Cantillon.

This unblended lambic pours a hazy orange yellow color form a 750ml bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is sour, tart, yeasty and fruity. A medium bodied lambic. Tart, citrusy and lemmonish. Touch of barnyard and funk. Some hay and still a lot of citrus. The carbonation is greatly subdued. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is very crisp and extremely dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter

Pours almost still, blonde and very hazy. The aroma is dusty with lemons and a very vinous oaky aroma, very good. Flavor is lemon and some vinous characteristics. This is intensely sour and woody and has that sort of musty cob webby thing happening that I love so very much.

Orco boia.

2007 vintage bottle. Pours out with no pop when de-corking and no head at all. A vigorous pours sees some bubbles floating around. A cloudy deep yellow color. The aroma is a sour perfume-like and woody note. The initial taste is sour, but not anywhere near some of the others I’ve had, such as the Iris. Instead, a strong funky sourness is alongside a smooth and full sawdust flavor. As it warms a ton of flavor is released, mostly more wood infused sourness, some slight funky and citrus. Quite good. Something original and pure. Though it has no head, the body is somehow smooth and nice. It also goes down quite well.

Golden pour with a beautiful suspended carbonation. Tons on tiny bubbles slowly make their way to the top. Aroma is massively funky with very pronounced nectar fruits, lemon, citrus, slight oak, straw, and hay. Flavor is very acidic, rude, and tart. Acidic lemon, grapefruit, orange, and oaken cider. Palate is very slippery and almost wholly un-carbonated. Rude, lacerative, and delicious.

Completely opaque orange-amber pour. Very thick with no carbonation - looks like grapefruit juice. Woody lemon aroma with lots of vinegar. Fruity with lots of funky earth notes. Lemony sour flavor. Very fruity without all the vinegar that was present in the aroma. A bit of a creamy oak flavor as well. The citrus is very intense and sour. A bit of fruitiness and a bitter finish, almost like sucking on a lemon peel. The sourness is almost overpowering, but very good and enjoyable. I’ve had lambics that had more sourness, but this definitely isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s also complete flat, but still very good.
