Young bottle (2003). Lightly hazed golden liquid with a lid of a few big bubbles. Dandelion, ragweed, mild citrus, yogurt and light stewed raisins float about in the aroma. Smooth palate. Mellow flavors of light malt, touch of wood and hopsack, and a little must. No doubt this will be much better in 10 or 15 years.

1999 vintage: Pale golden coloured. Crystal clear. Acidic nose. Very tart, cask character, some salt. Complex like a fine whiskey. Very sour.

Golden cloudy. Flat with no head. Damp aromas, reminiscent of humid caves and rotten wood. Fruity esters (green apples) and sulfur. Thin, very sour and complex. Too complex to describe.

2005. Hazy orange, no head. Aorma of sour yeast, oak, vinegar, musty barn funk, and some floral and citrus undertones. Flavor is sour, vinegared oak up front, followed by some funk and a sharp floral-citrus-mint combination. Dry, sour, citrus, oak finish and aftertaste. Body is too thin, would benefit from a little carbonation, just a little. Flavor and aroma are superb.

750ml bottle via trade a while back. Pours a clear (on the last glass very cloudy) glowing golden orange with 0 head. Nose of tart apples with citrus peels and farmhouse funk. Flavor was both sweet and sour, with a hint of oak in there. A very underrated Lambic.

(Bottle) Pours a bit hazy orange. No head. Woody, sour aroma with sour gooseberries notes of peach. A bit smokey . Green apples. The flavor is sour but mild. Some sweetness. Dry. Unripe berries and lemon. Fresh pleasant aftertaste.

pours a flat gold with no carbonation and no head. sour sweet bret aroma, flat and mild palate, relatively light sourness and subtle complexity. watery loose palate and mild hidden background. amazingly sessionable quality behind a hidden complexity.
