Thin head and lace. Medium body with just mind boggling tastes. Its just hard for me to describe. Its tart like a grapefruit, medium bodied, very complex...things going on in here i have never tasted, maybe thats why im having trouble putting it into words along with the fact i have only tried this style twice now. Slightly metallic finish. God, this rating sucks, will need to try again. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

Fairly tart and acidic flavor. It was nice though, not too much. The finish was clean. Light and refreshing. Very nice. jazz88 (2239), San Francisco, California, USA

Served in a flute glass, it had a wonderful golden color with lots of rising bubbles and a big foamy white head. A dusty old aroma with a wood, lemon, and sour flavor. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 4, 2006 Sample at Indy tasting Dick’s BBQ 3/31/06 - Aroma is sour, yeast, citrus, and clove. Pours hazy yellow with no head or lacing. Flavor matches aroma. There is a fruity taste in there I can’t put my finger on, maybe apricot or grapefruit. Palate is very tart yet it goes down smooth. I like the natural flavors and would like to nurse a whole bottle and really get into it. Jan Primus (160), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 22, 2007 Bottle. As it is an unblended three year old lambic, it doesn’t have almost any carbonation and so the hazy yellow beer has no head. Although you keep that in mind you still feel a bit disappointed by the appearance but nevertheless it gets better when we you drink...and that’s what we are here for. A very tart and sour flavor, a bit fruity with some hints of yeast. Leaves a dry and fruity finish. mjs (1542), Helsinki, Finland

Tiny white head that disappeared quickly. Sour, fruity and lightly wooden nose. Acidy palate, dry, medium-bodied. Wood, sourness, fruitiness, vomit and bitterness in taste. Long balanced aftertaste. Nice.
