Pale gold in color, apple juice aroma and perfect balance. Flavor is lacking but balance is not. bhensonb (4365), Woodland, California, USA

Slightly acidic aroma. Rather thin, with no carbonation. Flavor is mildly acidic with a little light stone fruit and some citrus. Finish is about the same, but a little wood is detectable. It’s a very good drink. It seems to go well with cheese and nuts. Ungstrup (15382), Frederiksberg, Denmark

The flavor is lovely sour with notes of grapefruit and a dry finish. A lovely beer. piscator34 (1133), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 28, 2008 Bottled sample, 2001 vintage. Medium gold in colour with zero carbonation. Aromas of citrus infused funk, old wood, a bit of earth, and a hint of pale malt. More funky and dry than sour in the mouth, with increasing earth and somewhat cheese like flavors. Some citrus and wood remain. Enjoyable, but not my favorite Cantillon product. jkwalking05 (1485), Arlington, Texas, USA

Head was limited to 3 bubbles. Musty nose with citrus. Medium body, acidic and sour. Grows on you. And maybe in you.
