We had the 1999 three year old pure lambic at the brewery. Very intersting with no carbonation and an almost winey, cidery feel to it. Very complex...

No head at all. Wow! Can we say horse blanket on this aroma?!? I think so. One crazy beer, good in moderation only.

Cloudy dark golden pour with no head. Excellent aroma of tart fruits, cheese and barnyard. Sadly the flavor is not as amazing as the aroma, there is tartness, mild cheese and barnyard, the finish is sweet and tart. The body is light with a liquorous texture and very low carbonation. One of the mellower Cantillon products, damn.

pours a lightly cloudy copperish orangish off color no head at all. Nice sour aroma lots of wood notes definate horse blanket and touches of leather and a hint of smoke defiante berries although I couldn’t tell which kind. Palate is fairly avg w/ a nice cheek puckering. A nice full tart flavor nicely complex a great deel of bitter fruits definate berries and apples some light leather and wood notes very mellow flavor that was quite good.
