0.75 l bottle at PBF. Copper color. Sour aroma with rich tropical fruit character, grapefruit, mango, lime and black currant. Sour flavor with grapefruit, lemon, black currant and horsey bitterness in the background. Close to standard Cantillon gueuze. Excellent.

Bottle from Kappldav123, thanks! Pinkish blonde color. Honey, grapefruit and hints of cognac in the aroma. Sour flavor with lemon, grapefruit, honey, oak, notes of brandy and pineapple. Relatively short aftertaste. Still a bit young, lacks some complexity, but a most pleasurable geuze.

Bottle at BCTC 2009: Thanks ggaughan. Hazy golden with a white film that retains well. Fantastic citric funk in the aroma- signature Cantillon yeast character with cobweb, old cheese rind, leather and even more funky layers. Crisp body with a bone dry flavor. Citric sharpness with layers of funky complexity- cobweb, leather, white pepper, mild dry oak, dry vinous notes. Dry, complex, and amazing beer.

Bottle at BCTC. I was quite excited about this one, and it was one of my clear favorites of the weekend. Pours a light murky amber with a thin white head. Light leather, hay, cheesy funk. This smells amazing. Big vinegar, lactic, and a light tangy sour. Finishes with a nice balancing bitterness before going back into a long lingering sour. This was fantastic.

Bottle shared by ggaughan at BCTC. Thanks so much. Hot damn. Im not going to attempt to pull out all the different aromas and flavors in this one, but I can say it was really good. One of only a few gueuzes I had all weekend and definitely the best. Cheesy, woody, and lots and lots of cantillon funk. :)

Aroma is quite stinky on this one. Cantillon type zest with even more punch. Stinky cheese and some astringent woodyness. Flavor is very tart with a lot of acidity and really kills the mouth. Funky and very sour. Crazy, good and almost too much for me.

[BCTC 09] Poured a lightly hazy golden color with a small white head, that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of Cantillon-like wild yeast, vanilla, toast, grapes (sweet and tart), and some leather as well. Taste of lemons, faint toffee, grapes, wood, vanilla, with low acidity and the signature Cantillon, sour finish.

Cloudy golden with a rather large white lasting head. Aroma had brett, wood and lemons. Flavour had the lot. Horseblanket, wood, brett, lacto, lemons and leather. So smooth and refreshing. Finished sour. Nice stuff.
