The aroma is tart with notes of citrus, horseblanket, and gooseberries. The flavor is tart with notes of grapefruit, lemon, gooseberries, wood, and brettanomyces, leading to a tart acidic finish. Thanks a million yespr for bringing it home and sharing. Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Very hazy golden with a tall, dense and creamy off-white head leaving laces. Dry, intense and tart Brett aroma. Medium body with a solid carbonation. Very classic Brett accents - but still young and almost mild and smooth, especially considering this being a Cantillon. First in the finish the astringent acidity comes creeping. Fresh and crisp. 150109 yespr (12345), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Aroma is mild fruity and light brnyard. Light acidic note yet with a smooth wooden accent. Has some classic Cantillon notes, yet very mellowed. Flavour is rather fruity and mild acidic dry. Surprisingly smooth and with only minor classic Cantillon notes in the initial flavour. Dry wooden brettish finish with lasting fruity accent, slowly showing a bit more of the classic Cantillon notes. Very smooth and easy yet still Cantillon-ish, but smooth and fruity. Great blend. omhper (12247), Stockholm, Sweden
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 8, 2009 Bottled at PBF. Lightly hazy golden, almost no head. Lots of sweaty stale hops to go with the horseblanket and vinegar up front. Acidic and very dry of course, fresh and vital with notes of oak and lemon juice. Typical Cantillon beer. There is nothing here I don’t love. The complexity paired with the enormous refreshing qualities of gueuze. fonefan (11822), VestJylland, Denmark

Unclear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is tart, grapefruit - citrus sour Cognac - wine notes, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic with a average to long duration, and a dry dry finish. Body is medium, texture is watery - oily, carbonation is soft. A very nice geuze so nice blended and balanced. ;o)) [20081212] oh6gdx (9047), Vasa, Finland
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 4, 2009 Bottled (thanks fonefan!!!!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is yeast, sour wood, some slight vanillaish notes. Flavour is quite wellbalanced sourness, wooden and mild notes of fruityness. Not that killing tartness/sourness. Easy to drink and quite mellow. joergen (8627), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Cloudy golden color; thin persistent head. Wonderful aroma, dusty cellar, rubber, lemon zest; creamy. Very good how it wraps the mouth, aggressive from the beginning, astringent and sour, full, with curaçao oranges. The final is very dry. Complex and very balanced, excellent.
