The flavor is sweet and sour of grapefruit and with a dry woody end - a lovely flavor. The best Faro I have tried. yespr (12373), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 20, 2008 From a jug at the brewery. Pours with no carbonation and no head. Dark orange coloured. Diacetyl aroma and malty/grainy, not pleasant. Butterish and malty flavoured. Ends flat and light sweet with a persisting butterish note. I was warned that this was for people that don’t really like gueuzes and lambics :) and questioned several times if I REALLY wanted this. omhper (12247), Stockholm, Sweden

Dark orange, hazy. Fruity lactic vinegar aroma. Complex with balanced acidity. Usually faro is just sweet and dumbed down. but Cantillon is so sour to start with that their faro is like other traditional brouwers lambic. Really good! fonefan (11822), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 14, 2004 Just prepared this morning by Jean, at Cantillon Brewery, with a 1½ year old lambic and sugar Hazy dark amber color. Nice aroma, reminiscent of vin cuit (apples and pears cooked for a looong time), and caramel. Very sweet, covering pretty much the sourness; easily (dangerously) drinkable!
