Feb 19, 2009 Max’s 72 Hour Belgian Fest – Hazed golden amber, thin wispy white head. Deeply funked sour apricot and cheese aromas rest on soft undertones of old wood. Sour tangy apricot lemon flavors balance very well on the oak and funk notes. Light to medium bodied, light carbonation, sour finish. Cantillon does no wrong in my book. Would be great on a hot summer day picnic...

Feb 14, 2009 Draft at Max’s. Hazy hay colored pour with little carbonation and thin sliver of a head. Vinegar funk and yeast on the nose. Sour and fruity. Very dry and sour flavor. Tart with a touch of fruit on the fnish. Crisp and refreshing. Very enjoyable lambic.

Feb 14, 2009 Draft at Max’s Belgian fest poured straw color. Great yeasty aroma with slight fruit. A bit of apricot in the flavor. Also, reminds me of sour lemonade. Nice lambic.

Feb 11, 2009 Draft at Redlight. This is WAY too easy to drink. Really nice. Sour and tart. Light body. Not terribly sure what apricot is supposed to smell like, but I liked the way this smells.

Feb 8, 2009 Thanks to whoever shared this at the sexual chocolate release. Hazy bright gold pour with thin fizzy off white head. Apricot aroma. Leather, horse blanket, apricot, and mango. Very tart, dry, crisp and refreshing

Feb 3, 2009 Beautiful very hazy appearance. Stinks of apricots left out in a puddle. The label is for sure my favourite label ever - a moonscape with an apricot planet rise! Very similar to their Geuze to taste but with some very obvious apricot. Another fantastic intervention from the masters. Oh - this stuff is available at Plonk in Canberra - too great! Thanks guys.

Jan 30, 2009 750ml bottle 2007 vintage $22. Beautiful golden color, hazy. It smells like apricot or peach pits, slight bit of hay, really excellent aroma. Taste is sour apricots, peaches, lemon. Very sour but it doesn’t get in the way at all, delicious flavor. The apricot aroma is really my favorite part about this beer but overall this is probably the best Cantillon I have had thus far.

Jan 21, 2009 Draft at Redlight Redlight. Cloudy orange pour with little to no head. Sour vinegar, sour apple, dry tart aroma. Sour apple vinegar dry tart taste. Very mouth puckering sour. While I am not a fan of this style, very well done.
