| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 23, 2008 Golden color with a clean white head. Aroma is a bit sour and funky with apricots, fresh orange, and light sugar. Flavor of candied apricots and tart, citrusy lambic with a nice bit of acidity. Solid feel with a medium pucker factor. Very good and different enough to distinguish itself. Another fine Cantillon! puzzl (2660), New York, New York, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 16, 2008 Tap at Spuyten Duyvil. Lightly vegetal, apricot aroma. Flavor was slick, powerful sourness, with only light fruit. Sharply acidic, almost piercing. I poured my wine glass pour into a traditional Cantillon tumbler and it became a much different beer. Though it was just as bracing, the intensity of the aroma and sourness died down, at least a bit. Still, it was a tough beer to put down. Reaffirmed my belief though that all but the smallest samples of lambic should be drank from the traditional tumblers. DrBeer (777), Danderyd Stockholm, Sweden
