From a bottle poured a slightly hazy golden color. Nice tart flavor with all kinds of fruity flavoring.

This beer pours a cloudy golden color with nice laceing but a rather faded head. It has strong aroma of yeast and lamon citrus. As you drink it the flavor was very salty and it drys the sides of your mouth rather quickly. There was also some intence flavors of lemon and tons of citrus and hops.

I don’t know what I expected, but I found complexity and some bright, fulsome fruit flavors that were awesome in this sour, dry acidic incarnation. Pours a translucent gold with a very active but disappearing white head. Incredible aroma of bright fruits, not just apricot but also nectarine, tangerine, orange, peach, with lighter notes of ginger and catty funk. Sour flavor, lemon with tart nectarine and apricot. Quite acidic, semi-dry, and only slightly musty in the back. Fun to drink. I should have expected it to be this good.

Corked 2006. Pours an opaque nectarine/creame colour filled with particulates and forms a swirl of white foam that clings to the rim of the glass. The aroma is certainly tart, with a funky bouquet of fruits, mostly apricot and barnyard. The nose is less abrasive than a gueuze’s, but still pretty pungent. The flavour sour and salty, with vibrant overtones of strong acidic citrus, but not so acidic that it resembles acetic acid. The apricots are very subtle. Musty yeast, acid and funk mask most of the apricot. The palate is tingly and soft with a drying finish.

&50ml bottle, says 2004 Vintage on the cork!Nose is funky with tartness and light apricots; lightly hazed and apricot colored with a small white head; flavor is sour, but not like a guezue, complemented by a very light taste of the apricots. Wish you could taste a little more apricots though!

750ml 2007 vintage. pours cloudy dull orange with small white head around the rim. nose is tart and semi-sour apricots with nice funk to it. flavor has nice tart and sour apricot fruit which is really refreshing. a nice balance here where the acidity is low. very well done.

Woosh! You wanna talk acidity, here it is. Funky aroma that is fruity, citrusy, with a touch of horseblanket. I can’t tell that the fruitiness is apricot. Flavor is hard acidity, bordering on acetic, biting sourness, leading into a semi-dry finish. Fruitiness swirls in the background, again not obviously apricot. Some lemony citrus is present, possibly an illusion due to the acidity. Cloudy yellow color, fizzy, soft palate.
