Barnyard, yeast and citrus, mostly lime, in the aroma. The flavor is lemony and sour with yeast. Thin, very astringent beer with a dry, dusty feeling. It’s nice, but maybe too thin and sour. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 9, 2006 Bottled in 2004, poured a golden color with a flat head, no lacing (probably left the glassware squeeky clean, these cantillon guys). The aroma was funk, leather, peaches, and apricots. The flavor followed the aroma, strong initial tartness, peaches, citrus notes, funky horseblankets / brett, and traces of wheat under it all. The mouthfeel was strongly acidic (surprise), leaves the mouth squeeky clean. One of the stronger fruit presences in a Cantillon, yet still darned Cantillon-like in tartness. Rather refreshing. Aroma is cantillon trough and through yeasty sour hen shed lemon goodness. Taste is similar with somehting holding back the complete blow your mind typical sourness which i assume is the peach but i cant actually tell its peach unless i look at the bottle, making is closer to balanced than most cantillons though with more hops also. A very intresting and lovely lovely beer. RERATE: UP TO 4.7 FROM 4. Alround such an excellent beer, sort palat clensing yet sessionable, the fruit is subtle and sweetens it slightly but, my god its amazing. fonefan (11525), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 26, 2006 Bottle. The inside of the cap is covered with a grey mold on this bottle and the cork is leaking. But, since the underside of the cork looks good, I’m gonna drink it anyway; if I haven’t logged on in few days send someone for my body.
Pours a yellow color with a slight haze. Quickly dissipating white head and only a slight carbonation that may a result of the leaking cork. Fruity aroma with some fresh straw and some light barnyard notes. Tart and acidic with a strong apricot fruitiness. The fruit flavor is very sweet while the lambic sourness tends to conflict it. This beer really has two separate personalities. The typical Cantillon Funk saves the taste for me. Without it, it trends towards some of the sweet alco-pops some of the other Lambic Brewers are sending to the states. Slightly sweet/ sour finish as well.
