Bottled @ KØ 2005: Light golden coloured. Unclear. Medium sized white head. Abricot, light sweet sourness in the aroma. Has the typical earthy notes. Flavour as well is sour brilliantly held up by the sweetness. Some hay, tart and fruit notes. Ends on a fruity sourness and is refreshing and cleansing. Used this a twice as palatecleanser during the festival.

A typical Cantillon. Poured a lovely shimmering orange, smelled of lemons, acid and apricots, and went down like a shot of Drano, causing rumblies in my tummy. But while in my mouth, it was a nice mix of citrus, apricot, and lots of sourness. Could have used a bit more apricot to balance it out, but good nonetheless.

Cloudy light orange with a somewhat lasting white head. Aroma is light barnyard. Taste is tart as hell. Some apricot, brett and leather. As tart of a Cantillon that I’ve had.

Orange-yellow colour without lasting head. Taste is of course sour, but with some mildly sweet apricot taste to balance things out...still new to this style and find it quite challienging, but I think this is the best one so far.

Hazy orange yellow with fast disapearing white head. sour and sweet aroma with notes of citrus. Taste is sour with note of apricot.

Hazy orange-yellow colour, low dissapearing head. Acidic aroma of lemon peels, leather and barnyard. tart and very sour flavour of orange skins, hay and lemon. Where’s the apricot? Tart and sour aftertaste of lemon-peels and hay. Good but not the best Cantillon.

Cloudy orange colour with a small head. Aroma of sour milk, abricots and unriped fruit. Sour flavour dominated by unriped fruit with notes of abricots. Slightly bitter finish. One of the first lambics I’ve had, and I’m not used to the sour flavour yet. Interesting.

Cloudy orange with a small head. Aromas are sour, musty and cheesy. I can smell the apricot behind the farmyard aromas. Flavours are very sour, perhaps the most sour Cantillon I have had. Musty as expected. Has lots of lemon juice notes towards the finish. Dry and sour on the palate. Another excellent Cantillon brew.
