| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 16, 2005 Pours a dark hazy brown. Aroma is sweet grapes, with some woody, funky notes to it. Taste is tart, and surprisingly sweet. Not much acidity. Totally different from any other Cantillon lambic i’ve had, but still a very nice experience.

Cheesy/sweaty aroma with touches of white wine. Matured cheese, mushrooms, nuts and some harsness from (probably) the "peel". Bark/cork notes and not very acid for a Cantillon. Really more a wine than a beer to me. ante (2965), Stockholm, Sweden

Vinous aroma of cognac, wood, forest and white grapes. Vinous flavourwith a strong cask character. Wood, cognac and muscat grapes in front with subtle but still refreshing sourness. Woody vinous and sour finish. Wonderfull lambic. omhper (12298), Stockholm, Sweden
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 12, 2005 Updated: May 17, 2005Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Hazy reddish golden, almost flat. Woody cognac aroma. The nose is sweet, and it does have a vinuos character, like muscat grapes, but much less so than the Gueuze. Concentrated, complex and elegant. The low carbonation gives it a pleasant, soft mouthfeel and Cantillon’s acidity balances out the vinous sweetness - but still this is by far the least sour beer I’ve tasted from Cantillon.
