| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Aug 31, 2007 Bottled at RBESG ’07 Hazy golden. Barnyardy aroma with a light touch of those gooseberries. Dry and soft with some barnyard, The gooseberries has made it sweeter than the regular Cantillons. Juicy and very pleasant. Intense but not the most complex or spectacular offering for being Cantillon. (Still it’s 4.3!!) radiomgb (2048), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada

href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/finland/ target=blank>One Pint Pub in Helsinki, Finland. Golden-orange in colour, thin white head ring around the glass, some lace. The aroma was sweeter then the regular Groseille, some gooseberry tartness, light sourness and some barnyard. The flavour is tart and sour (albeit less then the regular Groseille), sweet gooseberries, cranberries, barnyard, acidic. Mildly dry mouthfeel, medium/light body, high carbonation. Finishes quite dry but seems to go away to quickly. Very refreshing. More accessible and much sweeter then the Groseille, but it all seems to work very well in this case. thebeertourist (2822), Oslo, Norway

Delicious citrus lambik aroma with hints of cheese. Intensely acidic flavours, no compromise, that hint of cheese does not mellow the impression. Greatness smacks. Standard Gueuze pour, slightly rosier in color. Nice sour aroma, dry, mildly fruity, musty, mild acetone and woodiness. Very nice aroma. Wow... burst of tartness. Some wild strawberry up front, maybe cranberry, classic Cantillon tartness, mild rubberiness on the finish. Really enjoying this one. Nice lingeringtannin bitterness on the finish. Tasty.

Filling my nose with a very sweet combined with sour goosberrys and creamy mushy straws. The taste is a teleport to stables with wet cart-loads of straw spread on the floor, there is a light sweetness again combined with are fresh sourness and some spices and cream. The finish is long and sour-bitter. Lovely oh6gdx (9008), Vasa, Finland

Cantillonish sourness with some other berries. Same in flavour. Good as all Cantillons, but felt quite easy to drink, just like the Red Currant one (Groseille). 7 3 7 3 13
