The world's classic Gueuze. A blend of one, two, and three year-old lambics creates a second fermentation in the bottle. The champagne of Belgium. In contrast, the Lou Pepe Gueuze is a blend of three 2-year-old lambics.

Newer vintages are labeled "Organic Gueuze", "100% Lambic Bio" or "Classic Gueuze".

Very smooth gueuze. Aroma and nose are all funky horseblanket with a copperish smell in the background. Pours golden with white head. Very dry and sour. I could drink a lot of this if it weren’t $14 a pop.

Thanks to Sprinkle for this gem. Nice orange color with nice white head. Taste was of course very tart with some dried fruits. This beer was very easy to drink

Pours foggy bright orange with a thin off white head. The nose is horse blanket and other funk, along with tart citrus, as is the flavor. Subtle oak finish.

Hazy orange color and white head. Citric aroma is bitter and fruity. Sour, fruity, wild, earthy taste. Refreshing. Softly carbonated medium mouthfeel.

12.7 oz. bottle from Sam’s Quik Shop in Durham. Headless yellow-amber pour with lots of carbonation. Fruity aroma with notes of strong funk, cherry, berry and grape. Taste is very smooth and tart with notes of grapes, wood, berry, lemon. Actually a bit on the thin bodied side. Very nice.

Pours a cloudy gold with minimal white head. Nose is crabapple, sour citrus and funk. Taste is very tart and full of lemon, grapefruit, oak, and hints of barnyard and vinegar. Light and lively mouth feel. Pretty mellow on the funk. Decent.
