Jul 26, 2008 Updated: Aug 9, 2008Poured hazy orange with medium sized loosely packed head. Nose displays obvious tartness, big cirtus/lemon notes present supported by earthy aromas of struck match (dont know about anyone else but i always get that with lambics...) Palate is really lean and tight (compared to the lindemans cuvee rene i’d sampled prior) with more lemon juice and some dusty leather. Super dry, tart finish keeps you wanting more!

Jul 20, 2008 Updated: Jul 20, 2009375 ml bottle of the 2005 Organic Gueuze. Pours a nice dark gold with a thinner head. Aroma of lemon juice and zest, old leather and hay. Tart flavor, but not enough to overpower the subtleties of the barrel aging; spice and more hay with a whisper of vanilla. Excellent.
Update: Tasted on tap this beer is a revelation. The tart lemon and hay flavors become so vibrant the beer seems like it is on the verge of emitting light.

Jul 13, 2008 Some frothy cover on an orange coloured cantillon,carbonation is ample,aroma vinegar note,yeast.Flavour sour like lemon and orange rind(bitter)yeast taste.Sour wine taste,really hits the taste buds,a really tasty Cantillon,good body.Finish sour fully flavoured,delicious.

Jul 12, 2008 On tap at th White Horse, Parsons Green, London. £7 a pint! Hazy yellow with no head. Sour citrus aromas. Earthy tart unmistakable flavours, not as complex or lively as bottled examples I’ve tried but still delicious.

Jul 9, 2008 375 ml green corked and capped bottle 2006 poured a clear gold with a lingering ring of off white foam. Aromas of sour citrus, horseblanket, light leather and a hint of vinegar. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a tart dry finish. Flavors of unsweetened white grapefruit, light leather and light funky barnyard with a crisp dry lingering tart finish.

Jul 6, 2008 Big ol bottle and again I just cant get into this type of beer. Blasphemy for some I know...I keep trying, but I keep failing. Oh well. This one is good compared to the few I have had in the category.
