Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a bubbly white head that quickly shrinks to a ring around the top. Aroma is earthy and yeasty and also has notes of apple, lemon and apricot. Flavour is quite sour and has a strong suggestion of citric acid but is otherwise very similar to the aroma. Crisp, carbonated, refreshing mouthfeel with a lingering sour finish, this is a great beer and, in my limited experience, a good example of the style. Archibaldo de la Cruz (409), Finland

The flavour is very sour, vinegar and citric fruits. Dry and medium-bodied. Very refreshing brew. Barrios (858), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Clear pale orange/golden colour with tiny white head. Sour fruity aroma with some vinegar. Flavour is extremely sour with some cidery side and fermented fruits. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 2, 2009 This is definately a polarising style. I enjoyed it, but can’t imagine drinking it regularly. The wild yeast is just so funky and over the top, it turns an average 5% ale in to a taste experiment. Crazy, dry and brimming with ecetricity. Very nice, just not something that I would personally seach out again at this point in time. Quite pricey too. KyotoLefty (1447), Kyoto, Japan

Lovely clear amber color with a medium, bubbly head, which lasted longer than expected. Aroma of citrus, lemon, a bit of barnyard, some lactic aspect,
Very dry and quite sour. Creamy, lemony, but crisp and clean. Very nice. Fruitiness is subdued compared to the dusty dryness, though it got a bit more estery after the yeast was added. A bit of funk, and a long bitter finish containing a bit of lemon peel. Very straightforward gauze, dry as a bone, perfect mouthfeel, amazing with some ripe cheese and other foods. Perfectly clean and crisp. Butters (1651), Virginia, USA

Great typical cheesy funky guezey goodness. Tart semi-dry finish. Exactly what I would want from this style. blutt59 (2147), Dallas, Texas, USA
