Nose is full of lemon, barrel, funky yeast. Flavors are nice yeast funk, pleasant lemon sweet-tarts, dry Chardonnay, a little bit salty. Mouth is perfectly carbonated and smooth. Nothing wrong with this guy. Savvy1982 (325), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 8, 2009 Bottle at Brouwer’s cafe in Seattle. Huge nose; tight acidic cider apples, lots of extra-sweaty, funky horseblanket, almost salty it’s so funky. and yet a soft, curranty vein courses through the heart of this beer, keeping it delicate despite all the surrounding funkiness. So funky it’s almost too much, yet at the same time not enough. Palate is salty, sweaty horseblanket, soured fruit and brett. Lean, tight, dry, and intimidating, but wonderful! topherh (940), Kearney, Missouri, USA

I really like this one. cprochak (425), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of sour apples, wheat, light sweet candy, a bit of fruits. Flavour is very sour at first, soft wheat, light sweetness comes through later on. Medium bodied. Way too sour for me, but you can tell this is a quality brew.
