Wool horse blanket and mild sweet farmy aroma. Darker hazey brown purplish but not maroon. First look is mouth watering. First taste is simply lovely. Delicious almost vinegar and sizzly cutting carbonation. Burns tongue! Brutal sour special prodding bite of a finish. Nicely done. No hint of alcohol! Why do they make any other beers but sour and lambic? This beer rocks! NomDeBeer (400), Maryland, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 24, 2009 Wonderful aroma of sweet cherries and sour vinegar. Pours crannberry-juice red with no head. Taste is cherries, sour green apples, and vinegar. Finish is dry, tart, and very acidic with a slight vegetal note. My stomach burns with every sip. This is not something that I could drink alot of, and I’ve got to drink it slowly. It’s still enjoyable though. trayns (241), Beverly Hills, Michigan, USA
