| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 31, 2009 Bottle (2008). Pours a hazy pink with a small white head. Acidic aroma of oak, vinegar and subtle cherry notes. The flavour is sour and the cherry lingers in the background not so pronounced. Dry and acidic palate with a sour finish. tarheels86 (812), Washington DC, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 22, 2009 Bottle (2007). Pours a beautiful translucent rose with a small pink head that fizzles down quickly. Some spotty lacing. Aroma is apple cider vinegar, sour cherries, and I can’t tell much else. Taste is intensely sour even for a lambic. Loads of tart cherries. Watery mouthfeel. Finish is sour. Not my cup of tea but for lambic fans I’m sure this is excellent. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 17, 2009 2007 Bottle. Pours with a purple head over a hazy glowing red body. Ring stays for a while and leads to some good lacing. Aroma of cherry, vinegar, barnyard funk and sulfur. Taste is, wow, bracingly sour, tart as hell (and this is on the night of a Lambic tasting!). Light cherry in the far back of the taste with a bit of funk. Dry and puckering with lightish, lively carbonation. m4rest88 (216), Beverly Hills, California, USA

Aroma is of cherries, sour aroma, with lots of vinegar.
The flavor is of sour cherries, and vinegar. This is by far the most sour beer I have ever tasted! Definitely my style!
Medium mouthfeel, with light carbonation!
A great Lambik! hirigalzkar (600), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 4, 2009 On tap @ Akkurat. Almost artifical (lemonade) red(pink-red) color. Smells vineager and cherry. Sour taste with some cherry sweetness. Well balanced. illidurit (896), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 3, 2009 Cork says this was bottled in 07. Poured into a goblet. Dark strawberry-guava color with some haze. Very little head. Aroma is cherry pits and lemon drupelets. Flavor is searingly tart with tons of citric acid. The unripe lemon onslaught is only barely tempered by a hint of black cherry tartness. Some lactic character too. This makes Drie Fonteinen seem like Lindemanns. My salivary glands can’t keep up with the puckering dryness. Relatively drinkable.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 29, 2008 On tap at Hop Leaf in Chicago. I drank this during a dinner with Graham, Tara and John during my first vacation.
Cantillon Kriek is a cloudy red color with little / no head. The aroma is sour but intriguing and the flavor is bitter and sour with a vinnegar and nasty flavor. I did not enjoy drinking this lambic. However, it may be unfair for me to rate this as I do not like any sour of true lambic ales.
