Appearance: Cap&Cork. Light red, pink. Cloudy. No head at all. Little bit when warmer.
Aroma: Sour fruit. Bit of cherry.
Taste: Incredibly sour, some fruit. Cherry. Quenching

Jun 29, 2008 Green bottle from The Lighthouse in Manchester. Pours a slightly hazy bright red with a thin film of pink head. Smells fruity and acidic with hints of malt. Tastes initially sweet and fruity, slightly malty, and very sour. Pretty light in body, fairly aqueous, and light in carbonation. Takes a little getting used to, but after a few sips, brilliantly sour, subtly complex, and very enjoyable indeed. I’m hooked.

Jun 27, 2008 draught @ The rover. Really sour aroma with lots of cherry in it. Very sour and acid taste with some sweetness in the finish along with lots of cherry notes.

Jun 27, 2008 Bottle. Frothy red good mostly lasting head. Very sour aroma. Almost no cherrynote. Very sour and not pleasen flavor. No sweetness and cherry. Watery palate. More geuze than fruitlambic.

Jun 26, 2008 Bottle. Huge pink head with good duration. Color is red. Aroma and taste are rich with cherry and typical for Cantillon - lots of lactose acid. Very sour.

Jun 26, 2008 draught @ the rake. not quite the lou pepe but i’d still have a bathtub full of this stuff. Luuuuvly! Quite sweet sour lactic acid nose, not biting. Deep hazy purple colour, no head. Exquisitly balanced flavour of sour lactic acid, sweet morellos and wood. Bathtup i said....

Jun 24, 2008 Had at Milltown. Poured a gorgeously bright ruby pink, just vivid. Thin fizzy pink head that doesn’t stick around. The aroma is sweet and dry, some cherry peel, spicy, bracingly acidic and tart. The flavor is spicy and tart, biting tartness and acidity, sweet, cherry, a little dry, acetic. Very tart and acidic. Light acronation.

Jun 21, 2008 Updated: Jun 22, 2008bottle courtesy of bhops. i must be out of my freakin mind to rate this a 4.4 based upon all the other ratings. this is only my 2nd kriek and this beer was awesome. red pour with a very light pink head. slight sour/acidic scent. a very tolerable sourness with a cherry finish. thanks again bhops for bringing this bottle over.
