Ottima comunque. Brix (378), Denmark
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 28, 2008 Tasted 2008-02-28. Bottled in 2005. Pours unclear orange going on pink with white head. Aroma: Funky barnyardish with an earthy touch to it. Flavours: Acidic - very acidic. Extremely dry - brings out gallons of mouth water. Very tasty, if you’re into that kinda stuff! jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 26, 2008 Sampled at the brewery after the tour: the beer poured a hazy red with a pink head, but not as intense of a red as the Lou Pépé, The head built up beautifully and went to the top of the glass and slowly made its way down back to the beer. Aroma is of the brewery, deep musty, woody, and bretty notes lay on top of a firm sourness refined somewhat by the presence of Cherries. The mouth feel was soft from the natural carbonation and medium-light. Very good.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 19, 2008 2006 bottle. Pours a dark red with little head. Smells sour, funky and you can barely make out the aroma of the cherries. Taste is more sour, vinegar, with less cherry than I’d hoped for. I’ll go as far to say that this is a very interesting Kriek, but I probably wouldn’t try it again. AmEricanbrew (2000), Almost, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 19, 2008 Cork states bottled in 2003. Clear amber color with a thin whispy head. Strong oak, earthy barnyard funkaroma with a whiff of cherries. Medium body. A very strong, tongue numbing aspirin sourness pretty much overpowers the decent tart fruit and pale cracker malt flavors here. Can we say sour bomb??357 goldtwins (4085), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 18, 2008 1996 bottle @ Dr. Bill’s tasting. Yum Yum. Poured a fairly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Leather and tart cherry fruit makes up the aroma. Tart and lightly acidic flavor. Cherry and fruity notes. Some mild leather. Light body. Good stuff. LilBeerDoctor (1540), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 18, 2008 2006 bottle. Poured a beautiful deep ruby red, very little head. Smelled sour, fruity, some barnyard funk. Taste of very sour cherries. I enjoyed it a lot but it is hard to drink! mistersinalin (378), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 15, 2008 This is a really nice sour lambic - not so sweet like other krieks I’ve had. This one would be most enjoyed on a warm summer day.
