750 ml bottle. Pours a clear reddish orange color with a medium white head. Aroma of vinegar, funk and sour cherries. Taste is very acidic with a strong sour cherry vinegar finish. Very tart.

Oct. 2006 - Pour was red, with no head even with a vigorous pour. Sweet cherry and vinegar aroma. Flavor was sour cherries, vinegar and horse blanket. Some other flavors and mustiness swirl about, but I don’t know what they were. Mouthfeel was rich and smooth. Well made brew.

Bottle@Dr.Bills Poured red with diminishing head. Fruity aroma. Tart comes to mind, but also peach passion fruit, cherries, and lemon. Finishes dry.

This was terrible. The aroma was of a cherry jolly rancher, look of watermellon Kool-Aid (no head), and taste was mouth puckering. Avoid this beer!!!

Thanks to Skyview for sharing this tasty treat. The dregs from the bottle, this poured a deep read with cloudy off-white sediment. Tart aroma with a little cherry peaking around the yeast and sour funk. Massive sourness with faint cherry undercurrents.

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from John’s Market Place in Portland, Oregon. Pours a semi-hazy dirty pink brew with a fizzy pink-white head that quickly dissipates clean. Aroma of tart cherries, plenty of yeast funk, a touch of salt and aged brick cheese. Taste is tart cherry and sour lemon zest. Finish has a slight aged goat milk cheese character with tart cherries and yeast funk. Whoa! Most excellent!

Pours a nice vibrant red color with a thin pinkish head. Aroma of funky tart sour cherries. The flavor profile is made up of funky wild yeast combined with tart cherries and sour balsamic vinaigrette. This was mouth puckering, sour, and dry at the same time. I did not get very much sweetness from this one. Extremely acidic and sour, but pleasant at the same time. Basically the liquid version of a cherry Warhead sour candy.

Couldn’t believe I’d not rated this before, what a great excuse to have another...
2006 Bottle from Kris Wines. Pours, pardon the pun, cherry red with a pinkish foam that settles to a thin lasting ring around the glass. Initially sweet maraschino cherry aroma but a quick swirl releases the yeast, barnyard funk and balsamic vinegar. Tart with a real cherry bite, some yeast and a slightly sweet yet sour Jolly Rancher note. Last pour with all the gunk gives it a little more balance and more of a lambic taste. Lovely long puckering cherry finish. Damn, now I’ve done the rating what’s my next excuse gonna be?
