The beer also contained no carbonic acid in the glass.
The beer has a clear red color and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is light hoppy bitter with a fruity touch. This beer smells to light acid. Pawola22 (787), Kansas City, Missouri, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 20, 2009 12oz bottle with a bottled on date of 09 September 2008. Pours an opaque and hazy red colored body with a finger-width, pink head that fizzes away loudly and quickly leaving only a few bubbles of lacing around the edges. Aroma is slightly sharp and tart cherries, barnyard funk, a light cheese, and some leathery rose petals. The aroma doesn’t really jump out at me, but it seems well balanced and mild. Definitely not as sharp as others. Flavor is mouth puckeringly tart and dry. Not very sour, but really tart. Juice-like cherries and a mellow funk give this a very simple, but round flavor. Finishes with a touch of lemon-juice acidity and a light oak. Again, very dry after a thin body with a soft, lively carbonation. Short aftertaste. Overall, a nice lambic. Well rounded and fairly simple, but well put together and tasty. Solid. MBison (548), Southern Highlands, Australia
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 19, 2009 Bottle 375ml. Aged 18 months piror to tasting. Poured dark muddy blood with a small, pink, frothy head which was mostly lasting. Aroma had almost perfume like characteristics with notes of roses, violets, crushed raspberries, sour cherries, wild yeast and salt water. Flavor was extremely tart with a massive acidic bite; gooseberry skins, sour cherries, red wine vinegar and light notes of oysters & salty brine. Medium bodied with lively carbonation, a dry/spritzig mouthfeel, ever-so slightly syrupy texture and a superb length finish. Amazingly delicate yet infinitely complex. Kevin (1920), Colorado, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 20/20 | Oct 12, 2009 odd to see i haven’t put up notes for this one. must have had damn near 2 cases of the big bottles since i lived round here. a nice beer to sip on while watching a ballgame and listening to george jones. always looks like a cherry limeade with a big white head. the kind of nose that unless someone has developed the love for lambics would be aghast at. i’m just smiling. the cherry is apparent from the first sniff and sip to the last. smells incredibly sweaty and leathery, taste is lightly jaw wrenching with a nice sweet and tart side. a light popsicle stick and sulphur note pervade this, and i like that too. one of those beers that no matter what is going on in my life by the time i’m halfway through this i’m in a better mood.

The color was read and looked nice, very small head.
First sip was a bit of a shock, "Mein Gott, what is this? Very sour, but still good and very drinkable.
A very nice beer! witthatsbier (23), glasgow, Scotland

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 28, 2009 Truly a special beer, and perhaps not because of the cherry flavour (since the cherry is surprisingly balanced), but rather due to tones of sour vinegar and the dry character.
Interesting? Definitely. Tasty? Yes, even if not to the same extent as it is interesting. But it will actually be the welcoming drink at my next party.
