Nov 23, 2007 2003 bottle shared at Houston Beer Tasting. Pours a cloudy red-copper with thin bubbly white head. Strong sour aroma. Taste is of sour cherries. Mouthfeel is super sour. Much to much for my taste.

Nov 21, 2007 Updated: Jul 31, 2009Pours deep opaque red with no head. Aroma is quite sharp and sour, with a great deal of acidity. Light mouthfeel with dry finish. Flavours of vinegar, cherry and lemon.

Nov 20, 2007 2006 bottle. pours a hazy rose-red with a bit of a brown tint, with a moderate very slightly pink colored rose head that quickly fades to a film. smell is funky, with oak and cherries playing in a spicy and yet musty barnyard. hint of the sort of vegetables you might find in a red italian soup. quite complex and more enjoyable than in the various funky beers i’ve had in the past. i think that hint of cherries makes it. taste is sharp warm vegetable funk, with just he tiniest hint of cherries. i’m not sure i like it. the finish is great: very tart, tiny sweet with pretty big sour, even a hint of salt. medium to light bodied, but a bit sticky, with a ton of tiny bubbles. i really like the finish. the rest of the beer isn’t quite for me yet, though.

Nov 19, 2007 First Official Houston Tasting. Thanks to BigGreen (BA) for bringing this. 2003 bottle. Great reddish orange color with no head at all. Aroma of sour, sour, sour and sour. Some cherries as well. Love it. Flavor is very souring with a super drying of the mouth that leaves only tart cherries on the palette. Wow. Fantastic lambic.

Nov 11, 2007 Pours a lightly hazy ruby reddish/pink with a smaller bubbly/creamy white head. Aroma of funk, horse blanket, sour cherries, musty and yes everything you would expect from a Cantillon. Flavor of funky sour cherries, some vinegar, medium tartness, cleans the palate right off and as expected from Cantillon.

Nov 2, 2007 Nice pink/red color with a creamy pink head. Tart cherries in the nose. Sour with the same cherries in flavor. A nice cherry lambic.

Oct 7, 2007 From a bottle poured pink with a little bit of pink head. Nice tart flavor, good flavoring of cherries. Nice biting finish.
