Coloração vermelha clara, turva, com uma espuma bege de bolhas grandes, nem consistente, nem persistente. Ácida, salgada, seca. Bom aroma, lembrando champagne. Não senti cereja, mas alguma outra coisa cítrica. Trata-se de uma cerveja ímpar, que você pode amar ou odiar. Para mim, ela é apenas interessante.

surprised i’ve never rated this before. guess i was holding off till this bottle i smuggled from belgium and cellared 1 year was ready. this beer pretty much sucks. it was pretty much what it was supposed to be. very dry, carbonated, light, and tart. there was almost no cherry flavor. i enjoyed the first few sips and then the rest was mostly work. what’s the point? i challenge anybody who calls this beer complex. just pure acetic acid. pretty though.

Bottle. Deep red color with a small pinkish head. Acidic aroma of barnyard, wood and over-ripe cherries that add a touch of sweetness to the aroma. Nice sour flavor with cherries and some citric, lemony, tones. Very dry finish. Medium-bodied. Another great one from Cantillon.

Pours a ruby red that looks like its been thinned out by water. Almost wine like. No head. Aroma of dank wood, acidic, sour mix. Taste of tangy cherries that make you pucker, yet finishes dry but still tart on the roof of your mouth. Its like trying to suck this beer out of the wood of the barrel it was aged in. You get the woodsy funk, but not a lot of the cherry flavor.

750 ml bottle. Pours one of the darkest reds I’ve seen on a lambic... almost brown. Very strong cherry aroma, lots of funky yeasty sourness. Nice body, extremely sour and sharp on the tongue. One of my favorites I think, very bold and quite enjoyable.

750ml. Pours a beautiful cherry red/pink with a bubbly pink head that soon disappears almost entirely. Aroma is brett, cherries (thankfully still around), mild sourness. Horse/barnyard is not as pronounced as some other krieks. Nice, complex, balanced aroma. Strong but not off-putting. Sharp, tangy, acidic body. Very acidic. Tart taste with a quick sour finish. I liked this a lot. Certainly one of the best krieks I’ve had.

Draught and bottles. Bright garnet ruby-red. Desert dry. Surprisingly woodsy, almost earthy. Unearthly fruity, sour, and acidic qualities: everything that lambic should be. A relatively unassertive cherry presence that is overshadowed by the signature Cantillon lambic.
