Bottle (75cl corked) at Københavnske Øldage. Deep reddish, clear body, almost brownish. Small, pinkish-beige head. Lots of cherries in the aroma, along with sourness and barnyard. Tart and sour in the mouth, with cherries, brnyard and some green apples. A lovely, refreshing, palate-cleansing beer with an acidic finish with cherries and some apples. (070512)

(Bottle) Pours a murky red color with small pink head. Aroma of cherries and raspberries. Taste is intensely sour, which caught me off guard. However, the taste grew on me once I got used to the sour notes. Cherry notes, with some light vanilla and yeast as well. Average palate. This is actually pretty good, and a lambic that I won’t soon forget!

Bottle. Nose is fruity and sour. Cherries, sour apple, strong yeast presence. Beautiful pinkish red. Extremely sour, well beyong my palate’s sensitivites, but punctuated by cherry and raspberry notes. Outside of the tartness, the palate is smooth.

Hazy red colouring with a slim white head with tiny bubbles. Sour tart cherry aroma with typical cantillion funk. Fresh tangy tart cherries dominantes with an earthy sour character trhoughout. Refreshing. Dusky yeast is noticable. Pungent, crisp, tart with enough cherry flavour to prevent a stomach acid retch. My kind of beer

Bottle with cap and cork. Poured hazy reddish color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate complex tart cherry aroma. Medium body. Medium sour cherry flavor with a medium tart finish of moderate duration. Tart fruit refreshing brew.

Pours off red with thin head. Aroma is very sour and slight cherries. Flavor is holy shit it’s sour, from having the gueze recently it’s sour and tart like the gueze with the funky yeast flavor to it but the cherries make it extremely tart and probably the tartest beer I’ve ever had. The cherries were defnitely fermented because this beer is very dry and may be sour and tart but not in a sugary way. Almost soapy taste I also got from the gueze but damn it is just way too damn tart.

Bottle. Aroma is luscious, extremely tart and acidic. Touch of vinegar under the fruit. Strawberry red body with light carbonation and a short white head. Taste is wholly unexpected - mouth-puckering, eye-squinting sourness, aggressively tart and acidic. And extremely dry. Touch of vinegar under the extremely robust sour cherries. Acidity lingers long in the aftertaste, with a slight metallic ring left on the lips. Totally extreme and unadulterated - yet a little too extreme. Experiences of this intensity are easy to recall, years later.
