A lambic with cherry overtones, none af the mature roundess or softness of other krieks. Sour and acidic. I find this refreshing, but it is not for beginenrs. Sour apples, sour cherries, almost vinegar. Cloudy, a bit yeast. Tranquillity (1167), Espoo, Finland

Extremely sour, bu the cherry is clearly there and like Gambrinus, this is real fruit flavor and not a syrup. Red color. Excellent. GRM (1276), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada

Bright aroma with wood notes, sour farmhouse, horse blanket, lemony hints and of course cherries. It has an extremely tart flavor, makes me pucker, especially the first sip. Dry as a bone, with a lemony like sourness. Stuff is pretty drinkable though, a nice palate cleanser. robinvboyer (1436), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Feb 24, 2007 Pours an almost clear ruby with a creamy pink head. Interesting to note that of the 3 * 750ml bottles I bought in Belgium, the one that I bought at the supermarket was the best, it had a better, more uniform carbonation and more balanced feel to it than the ones that I bought at the brewery and a beer shop. Must have been sitting nicely on that shelf for a long time. Anyway, enough ramble... Aroma of wet hessian and a light tart dry cherry, perhaps some light ginger and almond too. Flavour is medium tart, fresh cherry, brett, almond, pit tannins combining very well. The finish is quite long, fruity and tart... I just love the finishes in the cantillon range. World class.
