Unclear reddish hue, no head. Yeasty aroma, little sugar. Strong sour yeasty flavour, fruity. Dry beer.

Bottle dated 2004. Clear burgundy pour with minimal, fast fading, effervescnet head. Sour aroma with tart cherries. Initial hay flavor, yeasty, sour grass. Fades quickly to very strong tart cherries that last and coat the mouth. Light body, sharp carbonation and a very dry finish.

A Mes rate: 37.5cl bottle from The White Horse. Standard Cantillon fayre but compared with most others that means very good indeed. I will refrain from going on about barns and horses and dry fruitiness. You know what this beer is about. Not as tart as some of their offerings but just as enjoyable and always a cracker. Certainly a fine kriek.

Bottle. Surprisingly high white head. Hazy red body. Week cherry aroma. The acidity is very dominant so the cherries can hardly be tasted.

Bottle Great acid nose and taste. The sweetness is outranged by the wonderful wild yeast. The krieks are just lovely!

bottle at Firewaters. Poured a ruby red with a very small off white head. Aroma was light to medium. The aroma is tart, sour cherries with some funkiness. Taste is tart and sour cherries, funky throughout. Sour, vinegar like finish, in a good way. Excellent, although I don’t think I would be able to drink more than one of these in a sitting.

The aroma had soury fermented fruit, an acidic cherry aggressiveness and was malty sweet. The beer poured a brownish/red color with very slight head and lacing. The flavor had soury fermented fruit, cherries, slight earth notes, and was malty sweet. The mouthfeel was light and crisp, very carbonated with a dry finish.
