Nice light red color, small reddish head that had a decent hang time then faded quickly to leave nothing behind.Aroma was lightly cherry with some hints of barnyard and some sourish notes. The flavor came off as much the same as the aroma with a nice cherry side and fairly sour with a tinge coming on in the middle of the old barnyard old hay or something that is just plain hard to describe other then it’s lambic.I guess it’s not bad but then i usually have a hard time with lambics unless there more on the sweet side.

There is low hint of cherry, with an acidic note. Pours a light pinkish color with a nice pink, bubbly head. Tart on the tongue with a slight cherry flavor along with a vinegary finish on the palate.

Not much cherry in the aroma, and for that matter the taste either. It does have a significant bite. A beer to be had in small portions.

Deleted old rating for this. Bottle brought by Egajdzis to Firemoose’s place. Brewed in 94, bottled in 96. Pours a pure peachy amber, moslty clear, it lost a bit of its pinkish, violet highlights, still has a nice fizzy white head. Well rounded slight aroma of cherries, ripe friuts, barnyard, funky, chlorine, pedio- cherry pie, and lemony citric and lactic acid. Mouthpuckeringly sour with lots of lactic notes, lemon, cherry flavor is almsot lost completely, some bretty characters, finishes very dry and tart. This was awesome stuff. Thanks again Eric!

Nose is traditional Cantilln - barnyard funk, oak as well as shocking cherry in the nose. More than I expected based on previous Cantillon fruit beers I’ve had. Very acidic lemon juice, oak, earthy cherry. Biting and great as expected.
