| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Aug 14, 2006 Deleted old rating for this. Bottle brought by Egajdzis to Firemoose’s place. Brewed in 94, bottled in 96. Pours a pure peachy amber, moslty clear, it lost a bit of its pinkish, violet highlights, still has a nice fizzy white head. Well rounded slight aroma of cherries, ripe friuts, barnyard, funky, chlorine, pedio- cherry pie, and lemony citric and lactic acid. Mouthpuckeringly sour with lots of lactic notes, lemon, cherry flavor is almsot lost completely, some bretty characters, finishes very dry and tart. This was awesome stuff. Thanks again Eric! rudolf (1774), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 12, 2006 Nose is traditional Cantilln - barnyard funk, oak as well as shocking cherry in the nose. More than I expected based on previous Cantillon fruit beers I’ve had. Very acidic lemon juice, oak, earthy cherry. Biting and great as expected. elektronikfagtekniker (892), kbh, Denmark
