A=could be mistaken for a wine. Could be the pour I had but there was no head whatsoever.
S=lots of cherry, almost no alcohol scent.
T= fantastic. Sour cherry, almost like a candy with no trace of alcohol.
M=probably the weak point, moderately carbonated and thin but appropriate fir this style.
Absolutely would have again, though perhaps couldn’t session because of the strong taste. changeup45 (798), Orlando, Florida, USA

Reddish color topped with a thin pinkish-white head that settles to a ring around the glass. This is very tart, acidic and dry. Tart cherries and sour funky flavors are in line with the aroma with some wood character. Very nice. Probably wouldn’t have wanted more than the 375ml bottle I had though. Tasted some of Rene’s & Signe’s. I’m not that experienced with kriek lambic but this was probably one of the best I tried. Reddish pink color with a nice pink head. Aroma and flavor of rela cherries, not acidic. Tart but very refreshing. I liked it a lot. Bloekie (165), Belgium

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 17, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy browned crimson with a thin to medium white head. Gorgeous aromas with the signature Cantillon funk. Loads of musky attic and old books, leathery brett, and soft sour cherries. Body is on the thin side of medium. Subtle cherry flavors behind big funky sour tanginess. Nice amount of acid and vinegar notes, finishing with a bit of wood, and a long lingering tartness. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 31, 2009 Pinkish read body with a quickly disappearing head. Funky aroma of vinegar, yeast, and cherry. Well-balanced flavor of yeast, sour with cherry sweetness. Really enjoyed this one. floydian1 (287), FNQ, Australia
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 30, 2009 Corked reinforced 37.5cl green bottle from Corks Of Cotham in Bristol, UK. Labelled "Kriek 100% Bio Lambic" with an expiry date of 20 Dec 2015. Pours with a dark red body and a small transient pinkish-white head. Very sour aroma of cherries with a touch of vinegar and those wild yeasts. The tongue is noticeably sour and astringent with the cherry sweetness kept under wraps and blood red orange plus grapefruit-like flavours becoming prominent. Finishes dry and sour. Hardly any alcoholic presence in there. It is medium to light bodied with a tingly mouthfeel. Probably a little too sour for my palate but it is still a pleasure to drink.
