May 18, 2009 The last of the Cantillon. I’m pretty sure this is the one with the suggestive label. I read somewhere the other day that these labels were banned in the US because some of them were innapropriate. Poured a bright red colour with some pink undertones. Decent sized head. On the nose there is lots of berry fruit again which made me think that there may be some tartness. Not quite though. Some grapefruit, and lots of strawberry. Not as sour but amazing carbonation. May 16, 2009 Bottle. Aroma is tart and somewhat woodsy. Red body, almost no head. Flavor is extremely tangy, acidic, though with a hint of cherry. Bracing, refreshing, very far from the usual stereotype of a "beer".

May 9, 2009 Updated: Nov 4, 2009smells like grapefruit and meat, extremely sour, vinegary and no identifiable flavor- like the cherries were only used for color. Thanks goes to either Daknole, Oakes, or Beershine. 2003 bottle.

May 9, 2009 So not what I was expecting and was pleasantly surprised. Deep garnet pour with even a slightly reddish head! Big time cherry aroma with some sour notes. VERY tart with deep and dark cherry flavor. Not your normal cough syrup kriek. Great job guys! Made me a believer in krieks!!!

May 6, 2009 Bottle. Pours hazy red, fizzy pink head. Aroma of red fruits, barnyard funk, hay, wood, spices, very vinous. Flavour is tart berries, cherry, sorrel, wood, dust, with a sour finish.Fizzy, a bit thin.

May 5, 2009 12oz - 2004 on cork - Aroma is not very strong but defined. Cherry, yeast, barnyard and vinegar. Pours transparent garnet, bright with small bubbly white/pink head and good lacing. Flavor slaps the tongue awake with sour cherry and fades into a very yeasty finish. Palate is tart and creamy. Not sure how age effects the experience, but a very nice tart and drinkable kriek.

May 4, 2009 2006 Bottle. Pours a bright red an attractive thin pink head forming. Smells of vinegar and sour cherries. Has a very vinuous aroma to it. This beer is lightly sweet at first, but then the sour cherries become nicely noticeable. Finish is overwhelmingly sour and bitter while the tart cherries are prevalant throughout.

May 3, 2009 Bottle. Pours a nice cloudy cranberry color with a very small off-white head. Aroma of balsamic vinegar, sour cherries, and boiled eggs. Flavor begins nicely with a tart cherry flavor but ends not so well with a pickled egg aftertaste. I wanted to like this one more than I did.
