Aroma is very strong with raspberry, some hay, and funk which, aside from the raspberry, are all typical from Cantillon. The taste is also very typical of all Cantillon beers, with a large amount of upfront sourness, but there’s this very well done undertone of raspberry that really sets this beer at a level above other Cantillons I’ve tried. Medium mouthfeel with a lingering sour/raspberry seed finish. airforce1 (61), Atascosa, Texas, USA
| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jun 28, 2008 Big Raspberry smell ....but wait! At first sip there is no raspberry, just a sharp sour funkiness then a mouthful pof fresh raspberries...very impressive! oakbluff (300), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Pours a beautiful rose colour, good clarity and one finger head. Nose- blast of raspberry and lemon zest. Taste- exceptionally acidic, raspberry of course, citric, and general funk. Not too dry, nice carbonation. Keeps zinging the pallette long after.. Fantastic! Pastor (509), Maine, USA

Poured a crystal clear read with little to no head
Aromas of raspberries and barnyard funk
Tart and dry flavors of raspberries it reminded me of a raspberry sweet tart with just a slight tingle of carbonation on the tongue
Very refreshing drink I had this as a desert brew as my wife and kids shopped for me for fathers day I really am getting into these sours as a summertime brew and this brew is one I will be revisiting soon

Smelled of funky raspberry and a little wood. Taste is raspberry, huge funky tartness, and a little wood. Given that I am just getting into the world of sours, this is my sourest beer to date. Hard to drink a ton of it, but definitely well made. grandet (485), Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Jun 10, 2008 Bottle from capones. Dark redish pour with almost not head but lots of carbondaltion on the glass. Aroma is of tart raspberriess and cherries. Taste is perfect sour raspberry with some oak or wook mixed in. I will def be making the trip back to capones to get the kriek. I wish this beer would never end. minch25 (357), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jun 8, 2008 2005 (so probably released within the last year). Pomegranate red/orange clear sparkling body, until the last pour when it takes on the opaqueness of some tomato soup. Light rose petal pink head. Aroma of the freshest raspberries, still in wooden crates. More oak influence than typical. Flavor: just a fantastic juicy mouth-puckering old-school hardcore sour Cantillonic lambic with tons of raspberries. Capa (983), Yokosuka, Japan
