2002 vintage tasted June 6, 2008. Thanks TimE! Pinkish in color with large carbonation. Dry body. Sweet raspberries, yeast, musty, and vinegar. Pretty intense flavors. Extremely enjoyable lambic.

2005 bottle for WeeHeavySD’s birthday. Poured a hazy red with a pinkish-white ring. Rich tart yeasty aroma of very sour raspberries. Sour tart taste with the raspberries building up as it goes. Lingering sourness. Very nice lambic.

Beutiful reddish colour. Some hints of raspberries in the nose. Well balanced sourness. Some citrus in the taste. Bottled in a 0.75 l bottle.

Sampled at Heritage Liquors Inauguration beer tasting in Maplewood, Minnesota. Shaed by Joebrew, from a 750 ml bottle pours a dark ruby red and fizzy brew with a thick and fizzy pink head that slowly dissipates to a thin film and off-white ring. Aroma of tart raspberries, barnyard funk, yeast, and a touch of lemon. Taste is spritzy, medium bodied with semi-tart raspberries, citrus zest, some herbal spice and a touch of white vinegar. Finish has a tart berry aftertaste that the carbonation can really do a number to your nose. Another fine fruit lambic from Cantillon

2005 Vintage; tasted 5/29/08: Big thanks to Joebrew dishing out this one. Dark pink color with very little head. The nose is incredible. Like jamming your face into a fresh basket of raspberries. Now smash them with your fist to turn them to juice, and that’s pretty much what it tastes like. Very tart. You know how some fruit beers are very obviously made with fruit syrup or an extract? This tasted so loaded with fresh fruit, I swear I could even taste the little seeds on the raspberries. Lightly soured wheat and malt base helps balance it out. Very, very good. 2001 Vintage; tasted 7/4/08: Murky brown color with no head. Massive raspberry and strawberry aroma. Tart, very tart fruit taste. A little hay and wheat. The raspberry flavor is unbelievable. I can almost feel the raspberry seeds getting stuck in my teeth.

75 cL bottle, 2005. Pours hazy to murky red with a fizzy pink head. Sulphorish dry raspberry aroma. Quite tart initial flavour. Has a classic dry wooden base flavour with a nice raspberry tartness lingering on top. Ends dry and with a lingering raspberry acidic to citric flavour.

On-tap at Churchill’s. Pours cloudy red with a fizzy pink head, no lcae. Smells sour and funky and fruity as well. Tastes sour and citrusy lemon with a constant mellow raspberry flavor. Not very sweet raspberry though, just raspberry. Funky sourness to it as well. Medium body, very dry, vibrant carbonation.
