Apr 16, 2008 Sampled at Hellbilly’s Hellraiser courtesy of Shyam. THANKS!!! Musty cut raspberry bushes with a hint of sweaty feet, this one pours crimson with a minimal rose colored head. Raspberry sourness, citrus, and Maytag blue cheese. Interesting and flavorful, maybe I’m coming around on the style.

Apr 14, 2008 poured a pink color with a small head that quickly went away. A lambics funk aroma with raspberry in the background. Flavor is similar, the raspberry is more in the finish with citrus and a mild funk up front. Not overly sour, little carbonation.

Apr 3, 2008 750ml bottle fully of beer brewed in 2003. Cork says it was bottled in 2005. The batch is at least 4 years old. The pour is spritzy and lively. Before it settles, the foam almost appears orangish, but after it settles it looks like orange jello in the flute. A pinkish orange jello.
The aroma is obviously fruity, but there is also a nice tart tickle that hits the back of the nostrils.
The flavor is rich with tart and fruity currents swirling over my tongue. The raspberry is most noticeable in the finish. The tartness is throughout and refreshing. A delicious creation that really excites the drinker with its mystique.

Mar 28, 2008 Good lord. This is by far one of the best fruit lambics I have ever tried. The initial taste is the funk of a lambic, but it is completely offset by the raspberries, thus leaving no sour aftertaste even though it is very present in the beer. I don’t think it really can get better than this.

great nose that reminds me of the best slushie that I have ever smelled(blue one)
has a wonderful flavor that matches the nose...but with a super nice acid flavor and a perfect amount of funk......great stuff

Mar 6, 2008 750 ml green corked and capped bottle poured a clear ruby red with a small lingering pink head. Aromas of raspberry, citrus, light vinegar and a hint of barnyard. Palate was light bodied crisp and tart. Flavors of raspberry, straw, light citrus, light mustiness and a hint of vinegar with a crisp drey lingering tart finish.

Mar 6, 2008 750ml bottle had in vegas (so glad i brought this to have with the wife)....bottle dated 09/01/2006.... poured an opque and somewhat cloudy pomegranate red with a rather short-lived thin and wispy bubbly white head..... aromas of musty barnyard funkiness, very tart and vinegary with a nice raspberry fruit component and some stinky cheese thrown in.... very sprite, tart, and refreshing flavors overall. lively mouthfeel and enhanced by the soft raspberry tones that worked well with this funky beast.

Feb 23, 2008 Extremely tart raspberry aroma my jowls are puckering and watering just inhaling it,straight raspberry vinegar saturated wheat,seems like it is going to overpower you,but it quickly smoothes out, acidity so high is burns the bottom nostril area,quite the experience
