Cloudy beautiful pink, with real raspberries. Cider-like aroma and no barnyard. Great sediment of more sour at bottom of bottle. Very smooth drink, hard to gulp down although I gave it a college effort. 2001 vintage. Must be shared. Seems richer than 5%.

Bottle from my friend Eric. Pours a nice ruby color with a frothy head. Aromas of berries and funk. Flavor is just pur vinegar, sour yeast and sour berries. I am not a sourhead and wont be any time soon. No sir.

2005 vintage on label, cork is stamped bottled 2007. Clear cherry juice color with a fleeting pink head. Big tart, barnyard funk, wood lemon aromas. Light / medium body. Hugely tart, saliva inducing mouthfeel at first fades some as your tongue goes numb. Very good flavors of woody raspberry seed with tart raspberry pulp and lemon and dry toasted wood. Stays nicely acidic throughout, and thankfully no aspirin burn on the way down. Simply awesome.

2003 version [vintage 2005]. Hazy red with a grey head that disapears quickly. What strikes me most in this beer is the aroma. It’s so intense, full of raspberries, sourness, acidic notes and wood. The flavour is sour and acid - like a combination of grapefruit and vinegear. But then again it is Cantillon - so I’m not surprised by a soar throat after one glass.

Bottle 75 cl from 2001.Vintage This bottle have been putted away for some time in a dark and cool celler - very good idea... The pour is golden redish with a tiny off-white head. The nose is crazy and fantastic full of the sweet rasberrys bot also notes of sweet gasolin. The aging have made this one more friendly, more round and relaxed but still with the sour snakebite that normally caracterise Cantillons beers. Strong rasberry-taste that isw both sour and fruity with a creamy smooth feeling. Thx for sharing Mikkel

Draught @ Ebenezer’s, 2005 vintage. Pours a clear bubbly red with a very pink fizzy head. Aroma is a slightly tart, dry rasberry, hint of fruity sweetness. Very tart, sharp, with rasberry emerging after initial shap vinegar tartness. Finish is lightly sour, with a faint rasberry exhale. Very carbonated, crisp, light bodied. Delicious.
